Fendi Baguette Celebrates Its 15th Anniversary

In every decade in fashion history, there’s always an iconic ‘It Bag’. There’s Grace Kelly’s Hermès bag, Jackie Onassis’ Gucci hobo, and of course Carrie Bradshaw’s Fendi Baguette bag. Remember these babies?

The Baguette is the brainchild of Fendi’s creative director, Silvia Venturini Fendi, who first designed the bag back in 1997. Since its launch, it instantly became one of the most iconic bags of the decade, loved by fashionistas—from Madonna to Queen Rania—and especially popularized by Carrie Bradshaw from Sex And The City.

“It’s not a bag, it’s a Baguette!” Carrie shouted in one episode when she got robbed 🙂
