My choice of bright shades have always been either red or fuchsia. But for some inexplicable reason, I found myself owning more and more orange items these past few months - either those I bought for myself or those I received as gifts. And this happened way before NYFW started!<br><h3>The Bag - Max Mara Shopper Bag</h3><br><img class="size-full wp-image-66749 aligncenter" title="IMG_6162" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/IMG_6162.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="750" /><br><br>This was the item that started it all. It was a birthday gift I received from my boyfriend and my first reaction when I saw it was "Huh?" It's not that I didn't like it. I just didn't think he would choose that color for me because I never carried bright-colored bag. But now I know this is the bag that's been missing from my wardrobe because the color is surprisingly very wearable! I use it both to work and on the weekends almost non stop and the size is perfect to fit all the <del>junks</del> stuff I carry everyday.<br><h3>The Top - Teatime Jersey Top from Batik Snob</h3><br><img class="size-full wp-image-66750 aligncenter" title="photo-1" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/photo-1.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="800" /><br><br>This landed on my desk one day and I couldn't help but smile when I saw the "happy" color combo! <a href="http://batiksnob.com/newarrivals.php">Batik Snob recently released its jersey collection</a> and I love how comfortable the material is. It's the right thing to wear for Jakarta's sweltering heat that we have been experiencing lately.<br><h3>The Wallet - Tulisan</h3><br><img class="size-full wp-image-66751 aligncenter" title="IMG_7759" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/IMG_7759.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="333" /><br><br>I needed a new wallet and I decided to take a different direction from the "solid color leather" one. If you need pretty prints, what better place to go to than <strong><a href="http://tulisan.com/">Tulisan</a></strong>, right? I had a few selections of colors to choose from and guess which one I fell for immediately? Yep. The orange one.<br><h3>The iPad Case - Zoe Clothing</h3><br><img class="size-full wp-image-66752 aligncenter" title="IMG_7752" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/IMG_7752.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="333" /><br><br>Another gift from a new local brand <strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/ZOEClothingID">Zoe</a></strong>, which has a line of clothing and accessory sold at The Goods Dept Pondok Indah Mall. I have always preferred solids than prints when it comes to dressing my gadgets, yet the choices for fun solid colors seem a bit limited. This orange iPad case has the right pop of color I have been looking for which, as it turned out, also makes a great conversation starter when I meet my clients.<br><h3>The Shoes - Staccato</h3><br><img class="size-large wp-image-66753 aligncenter" title="74" src="//www.fashionesedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/74-600x450.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="450" /><br><br>Ok, technically these aren't mine yet. But when I saw all the orange stuff I own (and believe me, the above items are only a few of them!) I was thinking: well now I need orange shoes! When I saw this picture, I was immediately taken by the grey-coral color combination of these pretty flats and by the look of the shape, they seem to be comfortable too. This definitely goes to my shopping list next time I visit Staccato store!    </div>
