Levi’s launched its newest innovation called Revel. If you’re familiar with Levi’s Curve ID, Revel is a continuation of the previous series. Quoting from the press release, “Levi’s Revel takes the curve innovation one step further by actively shaping a woman’s body.” That being said, we can expect three benefits from wearing Revel: it shapes, it lifts, and it lengthens. We also can see the best results from Revel right after we put it on.
“Levi’s design team was inspired by a woman’s desire for comfortable jeans that enhance her shape while highlighting her best features. Since the launching of Levi’s CurveID in 2010, we realized that it’s every woman’s right to have a great fitting pair of jeans,” said Sumesh Wadhwa, Commercial Director Levi’s Strauss Indonesia.
I personally tried Revel at the media launch last week, and you can see the picture on the Fashionese Daily Instagram here. I felt the three benefits from Revel right away! My legs looked more slim (in real life they look…em, you know), my seat was lifted in a very nice way, and the whole bottom area was shaped wonderfully! I actually can’t wait to get a pair of Revels, and finally, today the waiting is finally over. Levi’s Revel is officially available at all Levi’s Stores! 🙂
Levi’s Revel brings new innovation into the market, taking two years to develop because this new breakthrough technology from Levi’s uses Liquid Shaping Technology and four-ways stretch fabrics. Levi’s infused the liquid into the denim through innovative design techniques like screen-printing. The Liquid Shaping Technology controls the fabric’s stretch in strategic areas for a figure-hugging fit that lifts and defines your body and gives you a beautifully shaped silhouette.
The four-way stretch fabrics can stretch in four directions: upwards and downwards, and left and right. The fabrics naturally follow our body shape all day long, making them comfortable to wear and high in durability. Levi’s also put finishing touches by by adding different shade areas for every curve type, giving the wearer the illusion of long-legs. From behind, Levi’s Revels have downwards stitching and seam details that are different from regular straight line jeans.
Levi’s Revels are available in Slight, Demi, and Bold Curve. This is why I love Levi’s jeans, because there’s a right pair of jeans for all shapes and sizes. Size doesn’t matter, because shape is the important thing. Women have different shapes, and nothing’s wrong with that! But how many times do we had a hard time when it comes to choosing the right jeans? If the thighs feel comfortable, the waist doesn’t feel the same, and vice versa.
