Hey there! It’s me again. FD’s resident BB cream guinea pig. 🙂
We’ve been talking endlessly about BB creams here at Fashionese Daily. To name a few – I’ve reviewed several drug store BB creams, Cindyef reported on popular Korean BB creams, Grisselda schooled us on BB Cream 101, and many, many moons ago, Debbie Dunia Dandan has written an installment to document her BB cream craze at that time (read part 1, part 2, and her extensive reviews). Even though BB cream has been done to death, I’m still eager to try if there is another brand of BB cream coming into the Indonesian market.
As someone whose office happen to be located across the street from a mall, of course I am aware when The Body Shop also jumps into the BB cream wagon. I’ve been meaning to come at least to try it on my hand, but the The Body Shop store is always packed during lunch hour. Until one day I accidentally left my makeup case at home and went to the office sans makeup. I felt kinda naked, and I know that I look kucel and sleepy without makeup. So I decided to stop by The Body Shop store across the street, hoping to get the chance to at least slap on some powder and to buy All-in-One Face Base since mine was almost out.
In my experience, The Body Shop sales people are usually friendly and helpful. The lady who sold me the All-in-One Face Base was very helpful in showing and tested different shades of powder on my hand. And when I asked if I can at least use some powder, she immediately offered to do my makeup using The Body Shop’s newest BB cream. Of course I said yes! (more…)
