Today's Outfit; Welcoming Jakarta Fashion Week 2013

I can’t believe that it’s that time of the year again where I will be spending a full week in a mall – this time it’s not Pacific Place Mall, but Plaza Senayan, which serves as the new home for Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 (JFW 2013). When you drive by Plaza Senayan, you’ll surely see the evidence of the buzz of the JFW 2013, as seen on the display of signage of the JFW 2013.

As usual, there will be two stages at JFW 2013; one is the ‘Fashion Tent’ where you will strictly need a ticket to get inside the show and the other one is the Atrium, located just at the Atrium of Plaza Senayan Mall. Though for some of the shows you will need a ticket to get a seat, you can also take a peek from the sideline if you’re interested to come.

You can really feel the spirit  of  fashion week at every corner of the mall. Sponsors and co-sponsors booth are placed all over the mall, each of them offering fashion-related activities that surely are interesting to try. There are also exhibitions, which I, myself, haven’t yet explored individually, scattered all over Plaza Senayan Level 1.

Hanzky and I have been waiting impatiently for the first day of JFW 2013. Especially with the opening show from Lie Sang Bong, a Paris-based South Korean designer, and Indonesian renowned designer Sebastian Gunawan. And the show …. all I can say is that it’s AMAZING! It’s a show that’s worth going to work for on a Saturday. I really enjoyed the show, and the show itself deserves its own post. So I’m going to stop praising about it.
