Scene-Stealer Dresses from Emmys 2012

Who is bummed for not getting to watch this year’s Emmys? *raises hand* As we’ve tweeted before, it’s a lousy fact that our cable TV didn’t broadcasts the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards. Thankfully, one of the channels did air the red carpet, so at least we got to see the glamorous stars arriving in style.

Looks like it was scorching hot in Los Angeles that day—everyone had shiny faces and made comments about the heat. Oh, how we relate!—so it made sense how most of the primetime ladies opted for light, slim dresses with modern style instead of big, classic ballgowns.

You Are My Sunshine

Yellows were popping out like cra-a-a-zy at the Emmys this year! It seemed like everyone wanted to compete with the sun. There were Kaley Cuoco in Angel Sanchez, Julie Bowen in Monique Lhuillier, Claire Danes in Lanvin, Hannah Simone in Pucci, and Julianne Moore in Christian Dior, among others. Phew!
