Look who’s the new face for Calvin Klein’s newest perfume? It’s my favourite Swedish guy from True Blood and Battleship, looking so mesmerizing with those determined eyes!
And the lucky girl who gets to be alongside Skarsgard in the ad? It’s the Dutch model, Lara Stone. The blue-hued print ad sends shiver all over me with its dark and mysterious mood. Or, that was just me tying the image of the ad with Skarsgard image in True Blood as the ever-so-dominating vampire Eric Northman. But seriously, I’m sensing a vampire seduction moment going on in the ad. It was probably done in purpose, to leverage on Skarsgard’s strong ties to the vampire image.
The perfume? Ah yes, I almost forgot about it! It’s going to be a blend of mandarin, cardamom and rum in the first note, followed by jasmine, cognac and pepper in the middle and ends with oud, musk and cedar. A blend of very masculine preference of alcoholic drink-inspired scents and the mysterious yet ‘rich’ sense of oud. Sounds very interesting, right?
