Women Wired Weekend is a part of Affi and Hanzky’s dream that came true. They dreamed to create an event about women and the digital world. “where women like us could gather in one place, not just for the sake of meeting each other, but where we can learn from one another, look for possibilities to collaborate (much like what our members have been doing in our forum) and gain new knowledge or insight from experts or seasoned industry practitioners.
Cooperating with Kibar Kreasi and fX Lifestyle X’nter, we built our plans to realize this event.
Women could join 2 days of conference, shopping at Market Plaza Day, join Mommies Daily Book Launch or Fashionese Daily Gathering, or pay attention to several talkshow presented during Women Wired Weekend. Not to forget, Women Wired Weekend also aimed to give insight to brands or marketers about women’s behavior in digital world through Conference Day 1.

What Happened:
Finally the event that we’ve been planning and waiting for had gone through. Thanks to all speakers on Women Wired Weekend Conference – Erika Oktora, Aileen Apolo, Yeoh Siew Hoon, Roby Muhamad, Marlin Sugama, Ligwina Hananto, Betti Alisjahbana and Najelaa Shihab – that gave us knowledge about women in digital world, finance, family, career and leadership.
Who knows that video game can be a tool to reach audience in digital world? We just knew about it and other interesting info from the conference. If you want to read some quotations from the speakers, you can read @WWWEvent timeline.
For those who didn’t join the conference, or those who had finished attending the conference, they could shop at Market Plaza Day. As we had shared in Market Plaza Day Sellers List and Map, this Market Plaza Day has more seller than the previous ones. It’s great to see our favorite brands opened their booth at Market Plaza Day, but we’re also excited to see new brands that just participated. All of them offered plenty of good stuffs ranging from clothing, handbags, shoes, secondhand items, kids and also Muslim fashion.
Besides it all, Women Wired Weekend was also full of fun activities such as Fashionese Daily Gathering and Mommies Daily Book Launch. Some communities like Mamaku Koki Handal, Mari Nyanyi, iPhonesia and Hijabers Community also made our event merrier with the activities they brought.
What Next:
After Women Wired Weekend, all Female Daily crews were in serious need of hibernation. But you don’t have to worry, we’ve been planning to create the upcoming Market Plaza Day. Stay tuned 🙂
