For years, other than the condition of my skin that is dry, dull skin is another skin concern that I keep fighting with. It keeps relapsing every once in a while no matter how I treated my skin. There are many factors that cause your skin to lose its glow and making it look dull. Most experience this when their skin is experiencing aging process and the oil production of your skin is reduced. Sun exposure can also cause your face to look dull because of the UVA and UVB rays that penetrate our skin and cause damages and can also lead to age spots and skin roughness. Another factor is dead skin build up in the surface of your skin.
There are three things that you can do to tackle the problems mentioned above:

While I’ve been trying many brightening producst with satisfied result in tackling my dull skin problem, I have never really come across a specific product that only target the skin’s radiance problem without having any brightening ingredient in it. The most common problem that I’m facing with using brightening product is that even though my complexion looks dull at the time but it’s not necessarily experiencing discolouration and spot problems. The main star ingredient in this range is real gold particle that is said to be able to restore your skin’s glow. Other ingredients contained in this range is CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) that is also used in Pond’s Age Miracle that will stimulate growth of new skin cells, AHA (Alpha Hydroxic Acid) is known for its exfoliating properties and Retinol that will boost the collagen within our skin and keeps our skin supple.
Radiance Boosting Cleansing Mousse Rp 65,000
I choose this one instead of the Radiance Revealed Facial Foam because it’s packed in one of those tubes that instantly spurts out facial foam. So easy to use and especially during the night where I’m especially tired and just too lazy to follow through with my skincare ritual. The foam is thicker than the normal cleansing mousse in the market and it feels satiny to the touch. It doesn’t feel drying at all, which is perfect because sometimes when you’re experiencing dull skin your skin also feels tight and drying so I avoid products that can dry out my skin.
Precious Youth Serum Rp 126,000
Contains real gold microparticles and it’s one of my favourite products from this range. It’s one of those serums that feels liquid-like instead of velvety lotion. You can see the gold micro flakes very clearly from the glass bottle. It literally melts on my skin when I put them on, I just love the cooling feeling from putting on this serum. The bonus point is that the gold micro flakes instantly brighten up my face because it reflects the light from my face. So not only that it gives a long run solution by giving the glow back to my skin, but also an instant solution to the problem at hand.
If not for its skincare ingredient properties, you definitely need to get your hands on this product because of the instant glowing result it gives. I would say it can come as a dupe for the Guerlain L’or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold which is a primer with gold particles.
This serum also contains Vitamin B3 that will help to reduce age spots. I use roughly two drops of this serum for both day and night.
Youthful Glow Day Cream SPF 15 PA++ Rp 126,000
With broad spectrum UV rays protection, this day cream really comes in handy. It feels really light and absorb easily to the skin. I thought the white-coloured cream will leave a little white cast on the face, but I see none at all. My face feels moisturized all day long despite the thin consistency of this cream.
It has a dewy finish look the skin, one more thing that I love from this product.
I definitely see improvement on my skin condition because it looks much healthier and feels supple. But I can’t vouch for its ability for diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. I guess it will take sometime for the product to truly work in that direction.

Youthful Night Repair Rp 126,000This cream somehow feels like mousse. It’s really bouncy and airy. It comes in a jar and usually I will scoop out the product using the spatula that is provided in the box. I use one spatula full of this cream to keeps my skin hydrated during the night. Like the day cream, it leaves my skin dewy when I wake up in the morning.
For oily skin, you can use just a tiny dollop of this product and it will not feel heavy at all because of its mousse-like texture.
Youth Reviving Eye Cream Rp 105,000
It pretty much has the same consistency as the day cream but slightly creamier. This eye cream really works for my puffy eyes, somehow it helps a lot to de-puff it. It also feels fresh and for day time use is just perfect because it dries instantly so I can just pack my foundation right after I apply my eye cream.
This eye cream can also brighten your eyes area and diminish the look of dark circles.
My final verdict for this range? Definitely one of the best skincare range to tackle dull skin at an affordable price that goes beyond my expectation. I definitely will recommend this product for those who has been experiencing dull skin problem. I like how it focuses on bringing the healthy glow back to your skin because a good skin is a healthy one. I really wouldn’t mind if Pond’s could tone down the smell a bit because it comes a bit too strong when I first put on this product. Although after a while, it doesn’t bother me anymore.
