Yes I’m that excited with all the summer colours and holiday at the moment. Even though I’m at my desk every single day, typing article after article, but my mind already wanders to what I want to do for this holiday season. Most importantly, what dresses I want to get for the perfect holiday outfit and what makeup look I should do.
Usually for summer, you will see a lot of juicy colours infusion. But this time around, I see far more variation which I’m dying to apply for my holiday mood.
The Colour of the Sea Look
I always love the turquoise and aqua colour. So I was really happy seeing them on the Cap Ferrat Trio Eyeshadow Palette from NARS Summer 2011. Better yet, it’s two of my favourite colours combined. I’m much more of a beach person, so I can really imagine wearing this to the beach. Now, all I need to do is to find a beach to go to.
What I love the most about the palette is that the colours are so vivid that even when I use them only for lining my eyes it will change my whole look.
The best part about this collection is that it comes with a coral lipgloss, pencil lipstick and lipstick. Coral and blue tone are the best combination of all in my opinion.
Touch of Metallic on the Nails
Nail polish is compulsory for me. I can’t stop gaping when I see these two bottles of nail polishes. I will definitely cherish them both if I have them! The Chanel Peridot that comes from their Fall collection is really to die for! A green gold with metallic finish is certainly worth the trouble of getting it. But then I saw NARS Kismet nail polish, which is a true yellow gold. So what do you think? Which one wins your heart?
Yummy Brown Coloured Hair
I just got mine coloured just a few weeks ago, it’s a dark chocolate and I’m really loving it so far. Brown colour is really a suitable colour for Indonesian skin tone and Matrix just recently launched their Extra Chocolate hair colouring product for their top selling product Wonder Brown. Seeing all the different yummy brown, I really want to make mine like the picture on the right, a chocolate cherry colour. When I coloured my hair, I only did it with very dark brown because I’m afraid the colour will look too light on me.
