Ah, Maidenform Flexees. When I was younger and naive, I never thought I would rely so much on a pair of panties to make feel confident. But now, 10 years and one daughter later, I sigh with acceptance and peace everytime I put on a pair of shapewear or body slimmer, because I know my new body needs them.
One of my favorite shapewear brands is Maidenform. My mom said this brand has been around since she was a little girl and her mother (my grandma) used to put on Maidenform underwear underneath her kebaya. It’s kinda cool to think that after two generations, there’s a brand that women still put their trust in when it comes to shaping and slimming their body.
Anyway, my new favorite item is this Maidenform Flexees Chic Lace Brief. Maidenform Flexees range is one of their most popular types which promises to shape and slim with comfortable support. My tummy definitely feels flatter when wearing this brief! Unlike the Full Brief’s waistband, which feels a little stiff, this lace brief is very comfortable to wear. It doesn’t dig into my skin, I don’t feel “strapped in” and it doesn’t roll down easily. Plus the fabric feels very soft on my skin. I also love the design and the color. Mine is called Ash Grey and it’s a gorgeous taupe color with pink lace overlay. It makes me feel great that I’m wearing something that gives me great support and a touch of sexiness too 😉
