Happy and sunny, right? But why are people so afraid of yellow on their face, more importantly on their eyes!

Which texture works best, matte or frost?
Matte would be perfect if pigmentation is what you’re looking for but frost is easier to handle if you’re seeking for blendability.
What do I pair yellow with?
Yellow can be worn with neutral colors to look subtle or with bright colors for more playful look.
Here are several few combination that would work:
- Frosty yellow on lid, orange on the crease and brown on crease line.
- Frosty deep yellow on the inner corner, army green on the outer corner and on the crease line.
- Deep matte yellow on inner lid, electric blue/teal/torquoise on outer corner and eyeliner tight line on the lash line.
- Matte yellow on the inner corner, orange on the outer corner and peachy pink on the crease.
The possibilities are endless. Don’t be afraid to experiment with colors. Yellow is one underrated color that can really brighten up your eyes. Pair your yellow eyeshadow with neutral lipstick and and a bit of highlighter on the cheeks if you want to tone it down. You could also choose lipstick and blush colors from the same color spectrum to complement your eyeshadow, such as peach, orange or pinky-peach.
