Gucci Loves New York

The Italian fashion house, Gucci, is celebrating a milestone by opening the largest Gucci store worldwide, on 725 Fifth Avenue, New York. The new 46,000 sq  ft. Flagship store is the reflection of Gucci’s 21st century aesthetic, designed by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini and architect James Carpenter. 

And to honor the Big Apple, Gucci has exclusively launched a limited edition of Gucci Loves NY bag, in which 100% of its proceeds will be donated to the maintenance and operation of the 21 children’s playgrounds in Central Park, New York.  This boston/doctor’s bag comes in three sizes, Small $ 570, Medium $ 640, and Large $ 690, available starting February 8th, 2008.
