“A beacon for the style spirit, the king of all nowness, everyone is amazed by KARL LAGERFELD‟s larger than life iconic creations in art and lifestyle. Globally launched in Spring 2013, the eponymous watch line is exclusively brought to Indonesian market as they are only available in selected countries, such as Singapore and Hong Kong.”

Ring in the New Year (again!).

The New Year on the Chinese lunar calendar is nigh, and plenty of places are ramping up events  to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Horse. One such place is Summarecon Mal Bekasi, which celebrated by hosting a month-long event called Colorful Prosperity. Highlights include contemporary music performances and shows of traditional Chinese art forms. One such example was a boisterous lion dance, which can be enjoyed throughout the mall until February 16. Other fun events taking place throughout the calendar include fan dances, drum performances, wushu performances, and musical acts like Warna and Andre Hehanussa.

Curl up with a new book.

The L’Oreal For Women in Science initiative has added another milestone in its efforts to spotlight women in the natural sciences: Setinggi Langit is a book by young writer, Angkie Yudistia, that was first launched at the L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Week that took place in November 2013. The book tells the inspiring tale of 20 female scientists who worked their way up to their doctorates and FWIS awards on the national and international levels. Pick up your copy at any Gramedia store for Rp. 69,000.
