Must-Have Work Shoes From Staccato Fall Collection 2013

seo-img-article

I haven’t stepped foot into the office for the past few days because I have a new “office” here in Senayan City. Jakarta Fashion Week has forced Dhany and I to work from new environment without our beloved desks in front of us 😀  Since I have to work for a week in Senayan City, I got a chance to visit a few stores during breaks on shows, and one that got my attention was Staccato.  I love its Fall collection, so I thought I had to make a post because the store has every shoe we need to complement our work attire, amongst other things.  We can mix and match the shoes with more edgy outfits too for days out, or for whatever outfit we love.  So if you’re looking for a new additional pair of shoes in your collection, read this post because I want to share with you some of my favorites from Staccato Fall Collection.

1. Pumps

Pumps shoes are probably the shoes that most women wear for work.  It depends on where you’re working and what your job is. If you’re a journalist who must walk (or run) to catch someone for an interview, then these shoes are not necessary. But if you spend most of your time in the office, meeting people, then these pumps are a must-have in your collection.  Two types of pumps caught my eye when I stepped into the store, were these two-tone beauties (even though the black pointy pump still considered as black shoes, it mixes different materials :D).  The shoes in the first photo won’t fit for me because I have wide feet.  I wish I could wear pointy pumps! T_T  But anyway, I think these shoes are great as one of your staples: they have a great color combo, are simple, and look chic at the same time.  The second set of pumps are actually the ones that I can comfortably wear on my feet, very simple and appropriate for work and they are probably the safest pair that I could think of.

2. Boots

I attract the envy of many friends who work corporate jobs, because at the Female Daily office, I have the freedom to wear whatever I want. If you work in another company that is more conservative, I think you will attract weird looks from people if you wore boots to work. But since Hanzky allows any kind of footwear in the office (except for flip-flops, LOL), the ladies in the office make use of that freedom gratefully, and some of us are big fans of boots (I’m looking at you, Lita and Dhany) 😀  This ankle-length bootie stole my heart immediately after I set eyes on it.  A black boot with a little golden chevron and chunky heels, and my mind was immediately pictured what kind of outfits I can pull off with this bootie!

3. Flats

Flats are probably my favorite type of shoes because everybody knows they are super comfortable to wear. You get the nice long leg look when you wear heels, but you can’t beat the comfort of wearing flats. Flats can look too plain or boring, so make sure to pick ones with designs that don’t bore you. When I’m looking for flats, I look at the color first: I tend to look for neutral colors that I can pair easily with any outfit, and only then do I consider the design (the simpler, the better for me). The one that I picked out below are very simple flats but they don’t look very casual so I can wear them to work but still look dressy.

4. Wedges

These are another type of comfortable shoe that I love.  I am pretty tall but still love to add a few centimeters to my height, and wedges are absolutely my best friend when I want to walking taller than usual with happy feet all day long. I opt for wedges if I know I will stand for long hours at a certain event.  When you want to get the illusion of longer legs while still having comfort, wedges are the answer!  Other than the wedges that you see on the photo below, I still have other favorites from the Staccato Fall Collection that I will share with you on Today’s Outfit post next week.  So stay tuned for that! 🙂

Extra : Bling Peep Toe

Okay, it would be weird if you wear blingy shoes to your office on a regular day at work.  But they would be awesome for an event that is still related to work, like when your office is throwing a costume or launch party.  My point is, they’re great for parties!  If you take a closer look, the bling is not actually overwhelming, so the shoes have the right amount of bling which I love.

If you get a chance to add one pair of them, which one would you choose, Ladies?
