Last month, Fashionese Daily visited Gogirl! magazine’s office to meet Nina Moran, the Co-Founder and Business Director of Gogirl! Magazine. Hanzky asked Dhany and me to go with her, and of course I said yes. The only magazine that I bought every single month during my university years was Gogirl! I really, really loved the magazine because Gogirl! always spotlights interesting issues, publishes constructive articles, and also featured the latest trends in fashion and beauty for young girls.
I love to read, and I always look for interesting articles in magazines. If a magazine consists of 70% pictures, advertisements, and only has one paragraph on the pages, I wouldn’t like it and would never buy the magazine again. But I found that Gogirl! had the right balance of text and visuals, bringing up new monthly topics that I could relate to.
We questioned her on a lot of things: from running the magazine, to the art on her office walls, how she leads so many people, and how she maintains work-life balance. She was very kind to answer our questions and share her experience with all of us. When we stepped into her office, we saw that she had pinned her goals, dream board, and motivational quotes on the wall. It’s a very nice office!
