I don’t consider myself a lipstick girl, so imagine my surprise when I rummaged through my makeup collection and foundfourteen lipsticks! I think it’s too much for a girl who doesn’t love lipstick that much. I started wondering why I only use two or three regularly and forget the rest. Then I realized that part of the reason why I don’t love lipsticks is because it’s hard for me to find ones that don’t dry out my lips.
Come to think of it, I have never had smooth and soft lips. My lips were always flaky, dry, and chapped most of my life. I tried using lip balm but it didn’t seem to help. After a few hours my lips would be dry and flaky again. Lipsticks will only look good on me for two hours tops, and after that, you would see patches on the skin of my lips because it started to flake.
I have tried different brands of lip balm. Nothing seemed to help the condition of my lips. So I was naturally skeptical when Fashionese Daily’s Associate Editor, Griss, gave me something that said “Lip Spa” on the packaging. I still had plenty of lip balm so I was in no hurry to try this one out. Moreover, this Lip Spa product consisted of three products: Lip Tattoo, Anti Age Lip and Lip Masque Treatment, and I thought it would be a hassle to try out. So I left that box of Lip Spa in a dark corner of in my desk drawer, forgotten and collecting dust.
