One of the shows that I attended at JFFF 2013 was Poeisi 4 Dimensi. The name itself made cornered my curiousity right away; what could it be all about?
Poeisi 4 Dimensi is a fashion show that showcased the works of four designers with the unified goal of exploring traditional Indonesian fabrics in their designs. We witnessed the work of two male and two female designers, so there was a wide variety of looks for women and men. Everyone could enjoy the fashion show in equal measure. 🙂
Taking place at Kelapa Gading Mall, the fashion show started with Yusak Maulana’s collection, CULTURA. Inspired by ancient Egypt, Yusak brought a new concept for men’s outfits by handwoven rayon from Troso, Central Java. In this collection you will see a variety of shapes, cuts, and colors. Even though the majority of CULTURA used bold colors, we still can see summer colors like orange, green, and even turquoise.
