Just as I promised to sew ALL of my daughter’s dresses, legendary designer Diane von Furstenberg teams up with Gap to creata limited edition collection for GapKids and BabyGap.
I started twitching at the edge of my seat and practically fell out of it when my eyes landed on the preview photos. If you are always on the lookout for sophistication in your kids’ wardrobe just like me, then check out DvF’s designs for GapKids and BabyGap.
The signature DvF style is obvious all over the collection: the wrap dress is available for mini fashionistas in bold, colorful prints. The designer said, “My idea was to make the little girls look like explorers.” I personally LOVE the collection, as it is fun and cute without being overly ‘sweet’, showing me that there is indeed hope at the end of the often horrific childrenswear tunnel. Shout out to parents who are beginning to think that princesses and cartoony elements should be eliminated from children’s wardrobe! DvF listened and she delivered. (more…)
