I can’t believe that Female Daily celebrated its 6th anniversary yesterday. It’s a big deal for us at the office, and since we feel we’ve come this far thanks to all of you girls – our forum members – we’ve been wondering what we could do to make everyone feel that they are part of the celebration. So, ahem, I have put together a wish list of my own already, and I couldn’t decide which one I should get. I’m currently on a tight shopping budget since I just got back from couple of trips – and yes I’ve spent my shopping budget during the trips! If only I knew about this deal sooner. What if you girls help me pick one or two items that I should get from my favourite brands available from Zalora?
1. This B/I/N/C/A khaki dress (IDR230,000) is an easy choice for me since I love to wear dresses, they’re so easy to wear. Plus the asymmetric folding on the front panel is something that caught my attention right away. I especially love the sliver of orange on the dress. B/I/N/C/A always somes up with something affordable and easy to wear.
2. Bretzel is a brand that I have been watching closely since I saw their collection at the “Fashion Forward” runway during Jakarta Fashion Week. It always has interesting details, such as the ones you see in this black top (IDR498,000) I chose. But I’m still quite unsure how to wear it, although it does mean I would have to keep everything else simple. What do you think, too much effort?
3. Who doesn’t love Geulis? Their twist in bringing traditional materials and unique silhouettes has captured the heart of many FD-ers since their heydays at Brightspot Market. It’s kind of hard to find them nowadays since their shop at Level 1, Grand Indonesia closed down. But I’m glad that now they’re just a click away and I have several items from this brand that I love. But since Ikat is gaining momentum this season and I find this layering style brilliant, this top (IDR365,000) is going on my list.
4. Hello again Minimal! By now you are probably aware of my Minimal obsession and their newest collection just making it worse. One of the Minimal girls during the preview wore this wonderful dress and the simplicity of the loose cut is just my cup of tea. I really think I’m going to get this dress (IDR369,900).
5. The Tea Label jewellery line always carries something classic with a little bit of boldness, just like this classic pearl necklace combined with a chunky chain. Don’t you just love jewellery like this (IDR189,900) that can be worn with almost everything? You should browse their collection carefully though, or you’ll just keep adding more and more stuff to your cart.
So give me input on what two items that I should get in the next three days. I need your help, girls!
