Fashionese Daily got a chance to be a part of Marina Bay Sands VIP Fashion Night 2013 with Jeannie Mai last week, April 11- 13, 2013. When I was told about this event, there’s so many exciting thoughts running through my mind. First of all, the event was held at The Shoppes Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Second, THE Jeannie Mai was the one who hosted the whole event and all media and fashion bloggers got the opportunity to interviewed her. She is such an inspiring woman! Stay tuned because I will write about the interview later. Third, Marina Bay Sands also gave us the opportunity to see the behind-the-scenes at the preparation and explore The Shoppes plus visited some stores exclusively. Now you know why I was so excited.
Basically VIP Fashion Night 2013 is an event where we can learn, see, and get information of the latest fashion trends of 2013. It was actually the first time The Shoppes Marina Bay Sands held a fashion event worldwide. Worldwide? Are you sure? Yes, because the interesting thing about this event was that we could actually join the event via live stream on YouTube from home or anywhere you live!
Of course if we’re talking about fashion, we want to meet some fashion experts, right? Thanks to Google, all of us who were there were able to “hangout” with experts in the fashion industry – Joe Zee, Creative Director of ELLE Magazine US, and Jessica Michault, Editor & Fashion Commentator. They were both involved in VFN Google+ Hangout. And Kandee Johnson, Beauty and Style YouTube Sensation was also there joining the conversation in the next segment.
