There’s one more excuse for you to make your way to Plaza Indonesia’s eX Plaza: Fashion Xchange, a new two-storey concept store that is bringing more options to the local fashionista.
During the press conference, Fashion Xchange representative Herlina Wijaya explained how the concept store hopes to facilitate connections and and a tradition of exchanging ideas, products, and information between emerging Indonesian designers and labels from other parts of Asia. It currently stocks clothes and footwear for men and women from Singaporean brands such as Triologie, storied menswear line Flesh Imp, and shoe company Mitju while hoping to bring in Korean and Japanese brands in the near future. Also present was Elim Chew of Singaporean street label 77th Street, who is good friends with Ms. Wijaya and expressed excitement for the future of this cross-country collaboration.
