On December 14, Maybelline held a media gathering called OMG! Oh Maybelline Gathering. That day, they shared Maybelline’s 6 new looks, inspired by the trends from sidewalk to catwalk. I like all of them because they are the simple every day kind of look to night out party look. Not to mention, they have these eye catching names: New York Chic, Alluring Daring, Party Gliterrati, Provocative Fashionista, Classic Confidence and Sexy Starlet. I just found out about Maybelline’s new digital portal, Style Central. We can easily find Maybelline latest looks, including video tutorial and step by step explanation on how to get that look there.
The most “yay moment” was that each of us received a “Pandora Box” full of Maybelline eye products, from eye shadows, eyeliners to mascaras. It felt like I received an early Christmas gift from them. We also had a chance to recreate one of the 6 looks that we love the most. And you know what? When women meet makeup, they can be quiet. 🙂 I really had a great time there, playing with makeup, trying products that I’ve never tried before and seeing others’ eye look was very exciting and interesting.
Maybelline wants to highlight their eye products, because come on girls, Maybelline has everything we need. Let’s see, just looking at their eyeliner, they have it all, from pencil, liquid liner, to gel liner. Eye shadow? From light to dark colours, are available for you to choose. As of mascara, they have 7 different types of mascaras here in Indonesia! And to be honest, I’m a BIG FAN of Maybelline’s eye products, especially the liners and mascaras. I’ll post more articles on my favourites later. As you can see, with their campaign “I Speak With My Eyes” , they encourage Indonesian women to be creative and play with eye makeup and be confident with their look. If I can get affordable products to play with, there’s nothing that can stop me from playing and doing some experiments with my eye look. How about you? 🙂
