We may sound like broken record. But come on, people! If you ask us what’s the best eye shadow palette to have, how else are we going to respond if not to recommend you the legendary Urban Decay Naked Palette?
As we’ve told you months ago, the news is that Urban Decay is going to revamp the Urban Decay Naked Palette and create a complete line on it, along with the new but smaller version of the palette. The name is Naked Basics Palette. Smaller with only 6 shades available but is also cheaper at only $27.
We love the Naked Palette, but it’s too big to carry around everywhere. Whilst, there’s no lying that we’re sometimes just too plain lazy to do our makeup at home and we just want to have the luxury to have the good Naked Palette with us on the go. So this new option is definitely something that we’ve been waiting for.
So, the question remains: Is this smaller version better?
As you can see, it’s missing a few shades from the original one. Though there might be similar shades in the palette but each has their own purpose. No neutral is exactly the same! But we have to sacrifice some colours if we want to have that privilege of putting this palette in our makeup pouch.

As for us, our money is still on this one. All the colours are wearable and it’s in different finishes as well. Definitely a keeper. We’re expecting to see this palette in the makeup pouch of all of you fellow beauty addicts out there.
