So much has changed in the past couple of years, including my wardrobe selections. Now that I am working at Female Daily Network, I can say good bye to my conservative looking black jacket and pencil skirt. With the job, comes the obligation of attending so many different events, held by various fashion, beauty to lifestyle brands. There are times where I only got one day off from attending events or meetings for the whole week. But there are also the quiet weeks.
Most of the time during the quiet week, I would just slack off and wear whatever clothes I feel like to, without making an effort. I don’t even bother to put on my face powder! Apparently, I’m not the only one. Many of my friends who changed career into one with a more casual environment tend to let themselves go in terms of grooming for the office. They only made an effort when they have to go out to meet clients or for events.
So I thought, starting from 2012, I’ll put a little effort in the morning by putting on a little bit of makeup – the minimal powder, eyeliner, mascara and blush – and putting some nice clothes that are not too casual but still comfortable for office.

And the bangle, I made them myself 🙂 I bought a vintage handkerchief scarf from Our Vintage Shop and wrap it around my resin bangle to create this. I’ll do another post to show you how I made them.
