I’m glad for the past few years, brands don’t stop coming up with newer and better formula for colorful eyeliners. From pencils , to gel liners, felt-tip and also liquid.
I’m usually not a fan of liquid liners, only because I’m not very good at drawing a neat straight line. Pencils are what I use everyday and when I need something more intense as a liner, I use my trusted MAC Fluidline or Penultimate Liner, because they’re so practical and easy to control!
So when I heard about Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner for the first time, especially about their claim that the applicator will make it this product easy to use, I was very curious.
Aqua Liner is described as an adjustable pro eyeliner in fruity,long-lasting color. The formula is waterproof and long wearing. I wore it for the whole day and the liner stayed put and the color stayed fresh and vibrant too. It’s fairly easy to remove, I used my L’oreal Eye & Lip Makeup Remover and it came off quite easily. The colors are perhaps what’s so attractive about this liner too. Gorgeous shades in a few different finishes: glittery, matte and shimmery. My favorite so far are No. 5 (Diamond Turquoise Blue) and No. 4 (Sparkling Lagoon Green) which really make my eyes pop. These liners, especially the bright-colored ones, already look good on their own because they’re so vibrant. Sometimes when I’m pressed for time, I don’t even bother putting on any eyeshadow. I just draw a quick line and my look is done. But of course if you want a more intense look, you can wear it on top of your eyeshadows.
