Creams & Classics for My Birthday

Today is my birthday! And I am now *gasp* 32. I think I’m gonna put the candle backwards and just pretend I’m still 23.

Anyway, so since I’m all grown up, I need a serious birthday gift. Not one that will be forgotten in a few months. Asking all of these is pushing my luck, but at least I’m entitled to enjoy one of these luxuries :).

  1. Burberry Brit Double Breasted Cotton Trench Coat
I believe a trench coat is much more a staple than a little black dress! Really I cannot go wrong with a trench coat. I can wear it on its own, I can pair it with jeans, leggings, pants, or as an outerwear over my dress, I can wear it belted, buttoned up or however I want it. I can pair it with red heels or leopard print shoes for a more killer look. And if I am ready to spend big bucks for it, why not get it from the fashion house who invented the item, right?
  2. Chanel Grand Shopping Tote
Such a classic that will last me for so many years. And I want it in gold chain, please?
  3. Louis Vuitton Sarah Wallet
I have a Prada wallet and Kate Spade wallet that I use interchangeably. Sure, they are pretty to look at, but they are quite fragile, or maybe I’m just abusive to my wallet. What I love about Louis Vuitton stuff is I can never have to question their sturdiness and longevity. We buy expensive stuff not because we want the extra work to baby them, right? Peace of mind should come with the price tag.
  4. Burberry Two Tone Watch
This has been on my wish list for quite a while πŸ˜€ but it always has to be postponed. But one fine day I will not be confused whether I have to wear silver watch with gold jewelry or vice versa. This watch solves the problem.
  5. Miu Miu Nude Pumps
I’ve owned a pair of nude pumps before, they were from Charles & Keith and they were my safest pick as I could wear them with just about any outfit. Too bad they didn’t make it past their first birthday and I couldn’t find something similar in Charles & Keith and haven’t found the replacement since. But I figure, since nude pumps are both basic, classic and something we can wear all year long, why not go all the way and get quality pairs instead? The cost per wear will be cheaper than if we buy “okay” quality.

So what do you think of my pick? Or better yet, which one are you gonna get for me? πŸ˜€
