It’s like there’s no day without the news a new designer collaboration. The latest that we heard is the Uniqlo’s designer collaboration with Charlotte Ronson, Vena Cava and Costello Tagliapietra among the nine designers that will collaborate with the brand.
The three designers are said to designed six pieces for a limited edition capsule collection for Uniqlo’s 850 stores worldwide. The first to kick off is Costello Tagliapietra collection 21 April, followed by Charlotte Ronson on 5 May and Vena Cava on 12 May and they all will be available until 21 May. Each piece will retail for $29.99 and hopefully it will hit their Singapore store (the closest one to us) around the same time at a price that doesn’t differ much.
Some of the pictures of the Ronson creation have been out and we’ve seen a lot of stripes with a hint of nautical, but there will also be some country floral prints as well from her capsule collection which are made of Jersey. Ronson said “Since it’s hitting in Spring, we focused on jersey and knits” although she does a lot of wovens but she found it refreshing to work with jersey that other than going to be nautical inspired will have that whimsical feel as well.
