Compared to Level One first fashion show during this Jakarta Fashion Week, it offers more casual and simple outfits. But that doesn’t mean the second show was less attractive than previous one. The audience kept flooding to the fashion show which that took place in fashion promenade.

The clothes were even more wearable and comfortable to be worn daily. They were the most recent collections which made for Fall / Winter 2010 collections were presented by 6 brands from Level One. They are Tikshirt, Tosavica, Damn! I Love Indonesia, Magic Happens, MYE and Satcash. Each of the labels proved that Indonesia has a lot of prominent and creative designers with their own concept and characteristic.

Tikshirt was the first label that appeared. Iwet Ramadhan, the figure behind Tikshirt said that he was inspired much by Indonesian culture. More interestingly, some of  the models also danced traditional Indonesian before walking down the runway. Traditional motifs in bright color are sure to attract younger crowd who might be reluctant to wear batik at first.

Tosavica collection came in pastel color for both its menswear and womenswear. For the ladies, Tosavica put asymmetrical designs and pastel colors into light fabrics to add the modern look.

Damn! I Love Indonesia is another brand in Level One that admits to be inspired by Indonesia heritage. And I think the idea of putting Indonesian map as the image on a grey dress was real brilliant. Founded by former MTV VJ Daniel Mananta, Damn! I Love Indonesia urged young Indonesians to be proud of their nation.

Both Magic Happens and MYE used pale colors for their attires such as nude and light grey. Combining men’s shirt with shorts and sneakers, Magic Happens’ collection obviously targeted the young market. While asymmetric jumpsuit from MYE was made of sheer fabrics so it won’t look heavy for anyone who wears it.

Satcas, that managed to stay in urban fashion, created a wearable collection with a flick of an edge. Simple cuttings in basic colors won’t look boring since they had their own twist. Initiated from random silly ideas, it was quite understandable why Satcas models wore fox masks.
