The Louboutin Manicure

affi/ 5

If you recall this post written by Hanzky, you might recall that she mentioned how iconic Mr. Louboutin’s famous red sole is that it actually inspired someone to create a Louboutin manicure and that someone is actually Zoe Pocock from the Charles Worthington salon in London. But what does it look like?

Well if you want to give it a try, basically what you have to do is polish the top of your nails with any color of your choice and then apply a bright red creme to the underside. Very chic!

Apparently, this manicure is loved so much by fashionastas & nail polish fanatics that China Glaze even came up with their own version. The collection is called Lubu Manicure and they pair Ruby Pumps (sparkly red shade) as the underside and Lubu Heels, a newly-created shade, as the top color. Lubu Heels, as you can see, is a black polish with red glitter. I want this!! Even if you don’t wear it together with Ruby Pumps, I am sure this shade will look very nice on toes.

th_lububottle.jpgSo anyway, I’ve been thinking of trying out the Louboutin Manicure since I’m planning to have a manicure this weekend and I have grown my nails rather long – something I’ve almost never done before as my nails are so weak and break easily. Don’t know how that will turn out, but I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated!
